Bjorn Boyer
Partner
Born and raised in Germany, Bjorn started his career under renowned hotelier Andre Balazs. He was the Controller for Sunset Beach, Balazs’ Shelter Island Property, before joining the corporate team at AB Properties in 2012. 4 years later he started working with April Bloomfield as Controller of The Breslin, her Michelin Star-awarded restaurant within the Ace Hotel New York. Driven by the boutique hotel environment, Bjorn joined the next generation hotelier, Andrew Zobler at Sydell Group. There he was responsible for the operational and financial well being of the Freehand properties within Sydell, and oversaw openings in Miami and Chicago. Bjorn has a degree in Mathematics from Central Connecticut State University. He is also the founder and owner of the boutique hotel Eastwind Hotel & Bar in the Catskills.
Oskar Havas

Oskar started his financial career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York studying to become a CFA before joining the hospitality industry 15 years ago. He spent 3 years with Andre Balazs Properties, followed by 4 years as Chief Financial Officer for Chef April Bloomfield overseeing her Michelin starred restaurant group which included the opening of five Food & Beverage outlets at the Ace Hotel New York. Oskar was the Regional Director of Finance for COMO Hotels & Resorts – Americas, where he spent 6 years overseeing the finance and accounting while managing their portfolio of luxury award winning properties in the US and Caribbean. In addition to his Asset Management of hotels and restaurants Oskar has a strong knowledge of resorts, condominiums and mix-use properties with complex homeowners associations, spa operations, retail outlets and nightlife venues.
Born and raised in Sweden, Oskar holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Long Island University, a Master’s in Financial Mathematics from Central Connecticut State University, as well as a Master’s Certificate in Revenue Management from Cornell School of Hotel Administration.
